COMPENSATION RANGE:  $100,000.00 - $125,000.00   DOQ

DEGREE REQUIREMENTS:  High School Diploma or equivalent & PRLS Certification

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced Licensed Land Surveyor / Surveying Manager to lead and oversee surveying operations across multiple locations. This role involves planning, organizing, and directing survey teams to determine precise measurements and locations for construction, mapping, utility locations, land division, and more.

Key Responsibilities

  • Survey Operations: Oversee field data collection, perform survey calculations, and prepare legal descriptions.
  • Team Leadership: Manage multiple field crews, providing leadership, guidance, and performance management to support team development.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure quality control and assurance on all project deliverables.
  • Project Management: Prepare and monitor project budgets, billing, and timelines.
  • Client Relations: Manage client relationships and represent the company in meetings and conferences.
  • Business Development: Drive business growth by identifying opportunities and expanding the company’s presence in the market.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: 10+ years in surveying, with a proven track record of managing projects and teams.
  • Licensure: Professional Registered Land Surveyor (required).
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in survey plan preparation using Inroads/Microstation and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D.
    • Familiarity with Federal, State, and local jurisdiction surveying regulations.
    • Knowledge of subsurface utility designating and locating (preferred).
    • Experience with aerial mapping, LiDAR scanning, and sUAS (preferred).
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
