Key Responsibilities
- Design and troubleshoot minor electrical, PLC, and electronic circuits for machine and equipment control.
- Diagnose and repair hydraulic and pneumatic circuits.
- Install and maintain electrical and electronic controls by interpreting schematics and blueprints.
- Perform basic mechanical repairs and dismantle electrical machinery to replace defective parts (e.g., brushes, armatures).
- Install and monitor electrical equipment to ensure safety, performance, and reliability.
- Conduct layout, assembly, installation, testing, and adjustment of electrical fixtures, wiring, panels, breakers, and conduit.
- Mount motors, transformers, and lighting fixtures, completing circuits per diagram specifications.
- Utilize tools and testing instruments to repair, replace, and test electrical circuits and equipment.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in a related field (2 years).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a similar role.
- Proficiency in designing, testing, and troubleshooting electrical, PLC, and electronic circuits.
- Expertise in hydraulic and pneumatic circuit troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of electrical power and water distribution systems.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and verbal instructions.
- Competence in using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for part searches and work entry.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Must-Have Skills
- Proven experience in electrical circuit design and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on expertise with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to install and maintain electrical controls and equipment.
- Strong mechanical repair skills.
- Proficiency in interpreting technical blueprints and schematics.
- Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 upon successful hire
- Shift Differential: $3.25/hour
