TITLE: Sr. Mechanical Engineer

COMPENSATION RANGE:  $140,000.00 - $150,000.00

DEGREE REQUIREMENTS:  Bachelor’s Degree Preferred

EXPERIENCE LEVEL: 8+ years experience (positions available for less experience)

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer with 8+ years of HVAC and Plumbing design experience to join our Washington, DC office. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a leadership role within a growing local Mechanical team of professionals.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Provide mentorship and guidance to Mechanical engineers and designers
• Develop and manage project work plans
• Lead system selections, basis of design, and ensure quality of work product
• Attend project meetings and communicate effectively with project team members
• Represent the Mechanical discipline in client meetings and communicate effectively with clients
• Support construction phases including submittal reviews and RFI responses
• Maintain and develop mechanical/plumbing standards with senior engineering staff
• Act as a senior resource, providing guidance across HVAC and plumbing design

 Qualifications:

Minimum of 8 years of focused mechanical/plumbing design experience

• Mechanical Engineering Professional (PE) license a plus
• Proficiency in Revit and Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with Trane Trace load calculation software
• Strong ability to present information and confidently respond to questions from managers, clients, and the public
