Plant Manager – Animal Nutrition (120-135K)

 We are seeking a Plant Manager to lead daily operations at an established Animal Nutrition Manufacturing facility in the Syracuse, NY area.

 This hands on leadership role will lead from the floor and drive outcomes through people, process improvement, and ownership.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all plant operations with a focus on safety, quality, efficiency, and compliance.
• Maintain a strong, visible presence on the production floor.
• Direct and develop Production Management, Warehouse Leadership, Maintenance Supervision, and hourly staff.
• Drive production performance against KPIs, throughput goals, and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Partner cross-functionally with Quality, Technical, and Leadership teams.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives across labor, process flow, and equipment utilization.
• Oversee material handling, mixing, packaging, and distribution processes.
• Manage hiring, training, performance management, and employee engagement.

 Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business, Operations, Engineering, or related field). Equivalent experience considered.
• 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience, preferably in food, feed, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
