POSITION SUMMARY:

This role involves crafting and executing robust EHS programs that adhere to industry regulations and standards, including OSHA, EPA, and ISO certifications (ISO 45001, ISO 14001, 50001). You will play a pivotal role in reducing workplace risks, fostering a safety-first culture, and enhancing the overall EHS performance through strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• EHS Leadership: Guide and integrate EHS initiatives with operational activities to support site objectives and elevate performance in sustainability and safety.
• Incident Management: Oversee the investigation of incidents and near misses, perform root cause analyses, and ensure the implementation of corrective and preventive measures.
• Continuous Improvement and Auditing: Execute regular safety audits and inspections to maintain compliance with legal requirements and industry best practices.
• Emergency Preparedness: Develop and update emergency response plans, collaborate with local emergency services, and ensure preparedness for potential emergencies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned and travel to other sites as necessary to fulfill EHS responsibilities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Safety Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in safety or environmental management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Comprehensive understanding of OSHA regulations and safety standards.
• Proficient in ISO 45001 and 14001 standards.
• Willingness to travel regionally (up to 5%).
