Electro-Mechanical Technician
Electro-Mechanical Technician is responsible for the wiring, start-up, testing, and final verification of laser cutting machines to ensure full electrical and mechanical functionality in accordance with client's quality standards. This role is ideal for a self-motivated, detail-oriented technician who takes pride in precision work, thrives in a hands-on manufacturing environment, and is eager to learn and grow with advanced laser technology.
Key Responsibilities

Perform complete electrical and mechanical inspections to verify laser cutting machines meet all quality and
performance standards. -
Wire, start up, and test electro-mechanical systems to ensure proper operation and cutting accuracy.

Diagnose, analyze, and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and software-related
issues. -
Start up disk and fiber laser systems and validate cutting quality to company specifications.

Prepare approved and tested machines for shipment, ensuring proper documentation and packaging
requirements are met. -
Read, interpret, and work from blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.

Work confidently with high- and low-voltage electrical systems, as well as pneumatic and hydraulic circuits.

Verify test results meet required tolerances and document findings through quality reports.

Stay current with engineering change notices (ECNs) and technical product updates.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company standards.

Participate in meetings and implement approved actions and process improvements.

Support continuous improvement initiatives, including SYNCHRO, 5S, and Continuous Improvement Process
(CIP). -
Follow and enforce all company policies, safety guidelines, and quality procedures.
Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in electro-mechanical assembly, machine start-up, and testing.

Strong working knowledge of industrial machine tools and laser systems.

Experience with electrical systems (high and low voltage), electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and industrial software.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, parts lists, and machine documentation.

Familiarity with machine operations, applications, and quality control processes.

Proven troubleshooting skills with strong attention to detail.
