Note: This hybrid position requires employees to work on a hybrid schedule, with three days per week in-office at our client’s NYC office.

Note: The qualified candidate for this position must have at least 3 years of experience in tax, trusts, and estates law, with bar admission in at least one state where our client has an office.

Job Description

  • Advise clients on estate planning, wealth transfer, and asset protection strategies
  • Draft wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents
  • Handle estate and trust administration, including probate proceedings
  • Provide tax planning advice for high-net-worth individuals and families
  • Conduct legal research on federal and state tax issues impacting estates and trusts
  • Collaborate with colleagues in tax, corporate, and litigation practices as needed
  • Maintain strong client relationships through responsive and clear communication

Qualifications

  • JD from an accredited law school
  • At least 3 years of experience in tax, trusts, and estates law
  • LL.M. in Taxation or Estate Planning preferred
  • Bar admission in at least one state where our client has an office (NY, NJ, FL, etc.)
  • Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills
  • Excellent academic credentials and ability to manage multiple matters effectively
