Controls experience is ideal, but not needed - This 200-person production site is in the Delaware Water GAP on the NJ/PA border producing food additives. In this role you will be focused on optimizing and improving a manufacturing site's performance. Depending on the level of experience you bring forward, you will get full training that will help you become more familiarized with controls/instrumentation. The main plant at the site is DCS controlled, and the others are mostly PLC controlled. You'll be analyzing operations, identifying cost drivers, and developing improvement projects. Collaboration is key, as you'll work with operations and other engineers to implement these solutions and ensure compliance with various standards. Minimum Requirements:
B.S. in Electrical, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
2-5 years of in-plant manufacturing experience, ideally out of foods, pharmaceuticals, or chemicals.
Hands-on experience or exposure to controls/automation or the desire and motivation to learn is key.
