Process Technician
Full-Time – Direct Hire
Shelbyville, IN
Compensation DOE: $70,000 - $85,000 a year
Shift: 1st
We are seeking a Process Technician to join our team in Shelbyville, IN. In this role, you will program and tool change CNC Machines (horizontal mills).

- Prioritizing: able to use sound judgement in evaluating the relative urgency of various issues; appropriately classified in terms of time sensitivity, impact, complexity, importance, etc.
- Attention to Detail: Able to follow detailed procedures and ensure accuracy in documentation and data; carefully monitors processes; concentrates on details and organizes and maintains a system of records. Have strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Judgement: Must be able to work independent of direct supervision and be directly responsible for getting job duties completed on time.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Ability to troubleshoot machining issues
- Ability to troubleshoot robots and automation
- Ability to train and provide direction to tool changers
- Ability to manage projects and kaizen activities
- Tracking cycle time and takt time
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Competencies:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- 2+ years of experience required in either CNC Machine Operating or Programming
- Maintain all machinery
- Create monthly kaizens
- Preparation of financial information for tooling budget
- Manage and monitor tooling budget
- Eliminate scrap
- Physical inventory
- Attend any necessary meeting
