Pro Services, Inc. has a direct hire opportunity in Madison, WI for a growing industrial bakery. 

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining and repairing plant equipment to ensure smooth day to day operations.  Strong basic industrial electro-mechanical troubleshooting experience is essential for this facility. The ideal candidate will also possess a strong background in rebuilding mechanical devices, including bearings and gearboxes. This position involves a wide range of responsibilities, requiring the ability to work across diverse systems. Additionally, experience in interpreting blueprints and schematics is crucial to effectively perform the responsibilities associated with this position. The role offers some flexibility on start time for the daily ten hour shift. Each member of the maintenance team works 10+ hours of overtime each week. The ideal candidate must be available to work weekends as needed. The preferred candidate will also have strong motivation to contribute to a strong maintenance culture. This role offers an initial wage of $27, which can increase to $38 based on experience.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform mechanical and light electrical maintenance and repairs on various typesof industrial equipment.• Assist with new equipment installations and respond to routine and emergencybreakdowns.• Diagnose and report faulty or defective components and unusual conditions.• Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance tasks.• Maintain detailed and accurate records of maintenance work, including installationnotes, repair time, and parts usage.• Ensure work areas are kept clean, organized, and safe.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience in industrial machine maintenance.• Strong troubleshooting skills for mechanical and electrical systems.• Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and equipment diagrams.• Experience with X-Ray, Metal Detector, Checkweigher, Scale troubleshooting, repairand set-up• Experience installing, maintaining, and programing of VFD’s, PLC’s, BarcodeScanners and other electrical controls• Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).• Post-secondary education in a related field or 2+ years of relevant work experience(Maintenance, Electrical, Automotive, etc.).• Welding and fabrication skills are a plus.• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

• Work is conducted both indoors and outdoors throughout the year.• Physically demanding tasks include lifting, climbing, kneeling, and twisting.• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.• Flexibility in scheduling may be required to meet operational needs.
