A prominent healthcare employer with offices in the suburbs of Orlando is currently seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to work in Kissimmee & Celebration Florida, 30 min distance from each other. 

This exciting opportunity involves providing both outpatient and inpatient care in the field of cardiology. This is a full time opportunity to provide hospital-based coverage care for the Kissimmee/Celebration area. While fluency in Spanish is considered a significant advantage, it is not a mandatory requirement.

Responsibilities:

• Work M-F (with an alternate flex schedule)
• 1 Weekend a Month and 1 Night call
• Collaborate closely with a supervising physician to deliver efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality outpatient care.
• Perform a variety of tasks traditionally carried out by physicians to diagnose and treat patient conditions.
• Adhere to established regulations and guidelines that define the scope of practice for physician assistants.
• Act as an extension of the physician, ensuring exceptional patient care and attention.

Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills:

• Valid registration with the Medical Licensing Board of Florida.
• Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Nurse Practitioners.
• Up-to-date CPR certification.
• Proficient knowledge and practical skills for patient diagnosis and treatment.
• Strong ability to educate and counsel patients and their families on medications, diseases, treatment plans, procedures, and preventive healthcare.
• Completion of a master's degree or higher from an accredited School of Nurse Practitioner training program.
