On behalf of our client, we are looking for a LPG Technician to join their team:
 

JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Follows the Company’s Customer Service standards to ensure a high level of service is extended to all internal and external customers.
  • Obtains Work Orders from Line Manager, assesses parts and materials required, executes Work Orders according to instructions provided and in compliance with Rubis procedures, and verifies all repairs.
  • Maintains an accurate record of all chargeable time and other time which must be accounted for in accordance with company procedures, striving to meet established productivity standards.
  • Accounts for parts and materials used on Work Orders and maintains van stock inventory.
  • Maintains communication with Line Manager and other key stakeholders throughout the day, informing them of work progress and if there is need to change the day's work schedule.
  • Maintains and operates assigned vehicle, tools, and equipment in a safe, clean and professional manner in accordance with highway codes and regulations, equipment manufacturer’s recommendations and company policies.
  • Participates in formal training and assessment programs organized by the Company or any on-the-job training designed to maintain or improve their knowledge and skills.
  • May be assigned to other duties that they are deemed competent to perform as the Company requires.

REQUIREMENTS / KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Shall possess Bermuda Secondary School Certificate at pass level or equivalent as a minimum.
  • Shall possess a valid Heavy Vehicle License that has been clean for a minimum of 5 years.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in maintenance or related technical field OR has completed company apprenticeship program or equivalent training or experience and demonstrates proficiency in all required competencies.
  • Proficient in all areas as prescribed by regulations, industry standards and company policies and procedures.
  • Ability to understand, implement and train others when applicable to follow rigorous Company maintenance and safety standards.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Ability to effectively communicate (in writing and orally) at various organizational levels and with external contacts.
  • Proficient in safe working practices, with a strong HSSE background in an industrial setting.
  • Must be a self-driven individual and be able to perform independently with limited supervision.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • May be required to lift or move equipment or materials of limited weight and may be subject to periods of computer data input on occasions.
  • Perform a variety of tasks requiring high degrees of concentration and close visual attention
