POSITION:      Plant Manager

LOCATION:    Jerome, Idaho

 

DESCRIPTION

International manufacturer in the Jerome, Idaho area is looking for a well-rounded Plant Manager or strong Operations Manager in manufacturing who is ready to step up to a Plant Manager role.

 

The individual will have full responsibility for manufacturing, engineering, maintenance, logistics, finance coordination, HR leadership, and local regulatory engagement.

 

They will lead all site operations and be fully accountable for safety, quality, delivery, cost, and continuous improvement.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

·        Provide day-to-day leadership and long-term operational planning.

·        Ensure safe operations with a goal of zero accidents.

·        Oversee production, maintenance, quality, logistics, purchasing, inventory, IT, and administrative functions.

·        Achieve production, quality, delivery, and cost targets aligned with company’s objectives.

·        Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, yield, and cost to produce.

·        Develop, coach, and lead managers, supervisors, and team leaders across the site.

·        Maintain strong employee engagement, performance management, and incentive programs.

·        Ensure high product quality with minimal scrap and compliance to specifications.

·        Manage plant financial performance and cost controls in coordination with corporate finance.

·        Serve as the primary liaison with local authorities, regulators, suppliers, and vendors.

·        Oversee capital projects, major equipment investments, and facility upkeep.

·        Ensure accurate, timely reporting and adherence to corporate systems and procedures.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

·        Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from work experience

·        5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience required.

·        Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, budgeting, and resource management.

·        Demonstrated leadership, accountability, and people development skills.

·        Experience driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.

·        Strong communication skills with the ability to engage all levels of the organization.

·        High integrity, professionalism, and credibility.

·        Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

·        Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment.
