Overview
Tengiva’s mission is to democratize accessibility to materials worldwide. As the Head of Growth (B2B), you will spearhead the scaling of digital marketplace transactions across 10 B2B platforms. This role is directly incentivized by transactions, focusing on growing GMV (Gross Merchandise Value). Your primary objective is to scale white-labelled B2B marketplaces from $0 to $10M in transactions within 24 months by driving buyer engagement and merchant participation.
Key Objectives
Take 10 B2B marketplaces from $0-10M in transactions (0.02% of existing GMV) over 24 months.
Activate an existing buyer base of at least 1,000+ users per platform and drive merchant engagement to ensure product availability.
Engage marketplace platform owners in strategies that improve their transactional performance.
Collaborate with internal and external teams to deploy and enhance proven strategies while innovating to exceed transaction goals.
Responsibilities
Technology Development and Optimization
- Automated product push to social media (images, descriptions, tags).
- Enhanced SEO tools with automated custom descriptions.
- Paid advertising and Google AdWords integration from the admin panel.
- Recommendation tools for budgeting and advertising.
- In-platform features that boost conversion and engagement.
Strategy Development and Deployment
Create and execute a clear, actionable marketing calendar.
Define and deploy affiliate programs to drive engagement.
Optimize and automate onboarding materials including training for merchants and marketplace owners.
Enhance in-person event strategies to maximize digital platform usage.
Develop in-platform content (e.g., collaborations, announcements, and partner highlights) to drive engagement and transactions.
Administrative Oversight
Leverage an internal marketing team of three to support in your strategies (Graphic Designer, Copywriter/Content Manager, and Digital Tool Manager).
Coordinate activities with external marketing partners and the Sales Team, including advertisers and student learning programs.
About You
Profile
Strategic and hands-on leader with an intrapreneurial spirit.
Proven experience in scaling B2B digital transactions from $0 to $10M, particularly in marketplaces, platforms, or e-commerce environments.
Skilled in leveraging in-person events to maximize digital strategies (QR codes).
A self-starter ready to act as an individual contributor when necessary.
Skills
Advanced proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Ads, and social media advertising.
Intermediate skills in Figma and CRM systems (for editing, collaboration, setup, and maintenance).
Strong understanding of eCommerce operations and ability to guide team members in tool maintenance.
Professional proficiency in English; French or other languages are an asset.
Position Details
Full-time, salaried position with benefits.
6-month probation period.
3 weeks (6%) paid vacation.

Compensation
is 100,000 CAD / Year base salary, plus bonus: 5% of the quarterly transactional revenues. (min 20K+ /year if you achieve base objectives) No Cap on bonus, more you perform more you make.
