Remote Contract Specialist with construction
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct acquisition planning and market research in support of design and construction procurements.

Prepare, issue, and amend solicitations, Requests for Proposals/Quotes, and related documentation.

Support evaluation panels, negotiations, cost/price analysis, and source selection activities under Contracting Officer guidance.

Draft and process contract awards, modifications, and closeout documentation.

Maintain official electronic contract files, resolve payment issues, and ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Department of the Interior standards.

Support contract administration, correspondence, and reporting.
Required Qualifications:

U.S. Citizen, able to meet Department of the Interior clearance requirements and obtain an HSPD-12 PIV card.

Bachelor's degree in any field with at least 24 semester hours in business-related disciplines (e.g., accounting, finance, law, contracts, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or management).

Minimum of 5 years of federal contracting experience performing cradle-to-grave acquisition support.

Demonstrated ability to support large, complex federal contracts with compliance to FAR/DFARS and agency-specific requirements.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:

At least 5 years of construction contracting experience, with recent experience (within the last 3 years) strongly preferred.

At least 3 years of architect-engineer (A/E) services contracting experience.

FAC-C, DAWIA, or equivalent federal acquisition certification.
-
Experience with systems such as PRISM, FPDS, and FBMS.
