Managing Adjudicator / Personal Security adjudicator w TS **remote**

VETS, Inc., is looking to add an experienced Managing Adjudicator to our growing team. This is a full time, fully REMOTE opportunity, based out of Springfield, VA.  Due to security requirements, this position requires US Citizenship and an active/current Top Secret clearance. 

The successful candidate will have:

• 7+ years in personnel security adjudications
• Deep familiarity with ISMS, DISS, NBIS eApp, LexisNexis, and continuous evaluation programs (e.g., Trusted Workforce 2.0)
• Prior experience adjudicating for TSA or other DHS components (strongly preferred)
• Experienced user of Microsoft suite applications.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively articulate and grammatically compose content using the English language
• Knowledge and experience in writing and demonstrated ability to guide personnel in composing letters of adverse action in support of derogatory findings
• Three (3) years of demonstrated experience successfully managing people and persons
• Successful completion of an accredited Advanced Suitability Adjudication Course - must provide certificate of completion

• Supervise case flow and team assignments
• Provide expert-level adjudication support
• Serve as escalation point for complex or sensitive determinations
• Ensure 95%+ accuracy and same-day pre-appointment adjudications

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or similar preferred
