We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join their Rehabilitative Services team. This position focuses primarily on pediatric patients, with opportunities to also support adults in an outpatient setting. You’ll play a key role in helping patients of all ages reach their highest potential in communication and swallowing function.
Conduct evaluations and create individualized treatment plans for pediatric and adult patients.
Provide direct therapy in an outpatient clinic setting, focusing primarily on pediatrics.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary staff to deliver coordinated care.
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy goals, strategies, and home programming.
Document evaluations, progress notes, and outcomes in compliance with policies and regulations.
Participate in departmental projects, in-service education, and ongoing professional development.
Support the growth of innovative programs and services within outpatient speech therapy.
Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
Eligible for New York State licensure and registration.
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, or eligibility to obtain.
One to two years of pediatric or hospital-based experience preferred; new graduates with strong pediatric practicum experience are encouraged to apply.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required within 90 days of hire).
