Job Title: Senior FP&A Manager
Position Summary
This role will provide financial forecasting, analysis, and reporting for the client site.
Principal Activities
o Reporting of Actual and Forecasted results in Corporate Consolidation tool, BPC, and ensuring alignment with local ERP, IFS. Provide clear meaningful commentary on variances and results. Work closely with the Director of Finance to support other business unit reporting requirements on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis.
o Ownership of the weekly/monthly forecasting process; creation and maintenance of complex financial/business models to accurately predict performance and support strategic planning. Lead annual budgeting process and deliver the resulting consolidated financial statements.
o Analyze financial and statistical data to identify trends, track key performance indicators, and deliver variance analysis for budget/forecast/prior year.
o Work with operations to develop improvement plans and support accountability through meaningful metric tracking.
o Analyze POC/EAC contract level results, monitor assumption accuracy, and provide feedback to management on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis.
o Cashflow: Analyze cash flow forecast for receivables and payables, coordinate forecast, and actual reporting against forecast with Financial Shared Services.
o Initiatives: Provide financial support to help drive key site improvement initiatives.
o Effectively communicate findings to varying levels of management.
o Collaborate cross-functionally to gather information and ensure financial alignment with business goals, demonstrating teamwork and a positive attitude. Drive alignment across departments solving problems through a structured, analytical, data-based approach.
o Team Leadership: Act as a change agent, mentor, coach, who develops and assists team members to effectively perform assigned duties. Foster a learning culture, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous professional development.
o Productivity / Process Improvement: Using Lean tools, drive improvements in financial processes, including automation of manual activities, improvements in the quality and consistency of data and analysis, and elimination of non-value-added work. Identify cost reduction or efficiency opportunities and lead related cross functional projects, Kaizen activities, or other initiatives as required.
o Liaison with division/corporate accounting and support their requirements for the client site.
o Other tasks and projects assigned by the Director of Finance.
