Job Description
- Lead the entire preconstruction process for healthcare facility projects
- Develop and present competitive bids, budgets, and cost estimates
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to shape project strategies
- Prepare and deliver winning presentations for project interviews
- Analyze risks and ensure alignment with operational and financial goals
- Maintain and report accurate cost history and project data
- Contribute to design review and value engineering efforts
- Support business development by maintaining strong client relationships
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years of experience in preconstruction or estimating, with 2 of those years in healthcare construction
- Experience in the Nashville, TN market is required
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proficient in construction estimating software and Microsoft Excel
- Able to read construction documents and prepare accurate quantity takeoffs
- Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of local construction methods and subcontractor market
- Valid driver’s license
