Conflicts Research AnalystLocation: Cleveland, OH (Onsite or Hybrid)Job Type: Full-time

We’re recruiting on behalf of a top-ranked law firm seeking a Conflicts Research Analyst to support their legal operations in Cleveland. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with experience in law firm conflicts who enjoys research, ethics compliance, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed conflicts checks for new clients and lateral hires using internal databases

  • Perform corporate research to identify relationships and affiliations

  • Summarize and communicate search results clearly to attorneys and internal counsel

  • Collaborate with the Conflicts Counsel and legal teams to support resolution of identified issues

  • Draft conflict waivers, engagement letters, and ethical wall memorandums

  • Help maintain and clean up client/matter records in the conflicts system

  • Provide responsive, client-focused support to attorneys and staff

  • Available to work outside normal business hours when needed

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of conflicts experience at a mid- to large-sized law firm

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Familiarity with legal ethics rules related to conflicts of interest

  • Experience with Intapp or similar conflicts software strongly preferred

  • Strong research, writing, and communication skills

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

  • Detail-oriented with strong critical thinking skills

  • Team player with a commitment to excellent service
