The Role

Investment data and platform delivery - Ingesting and normalizing data from a broad ecosystem of third-party ESG data providers to power scoring, risk assessment, and investment decision-making across global strategies.

The hard part isn't getting the data. It's making it usable. Portfolio managers, analysts, and risk teams need to interact with complex, multi-source ESG data in ways that actually drive decisions - and that requires someone who understands both the data and the people consuming it.

You own discovery and requirements end-to-end - from stakeholder conversations to well-defined specs engineering can actually build against.

The learning never stops — and the team makes sure of it. Both technologists and business stakeholders invest heavily in knowledge transfer. ESG is complex. The platform is complex. This is a team that actively brings people up to speed — and keeps doing it.

What You'll Do

• Lead requirements definition for complex ESG data integration, normalization, and presentation initiatives
• Partner with Stakeholder and product teams to understand how ESG data informs decisions - and where current tooling falls short
• Translate stakeholder needs into functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Drive how ESG data surfaces in internal tools - scoring views, risk overlays, portfolio-level comparisons, and reporting outputs
• Work directly within Snowflake and alongside data engineering to understand, query, and help shape how ESG data is structured and made available for downstream consumption
• Collaborate directly with engineers and data teams across the full SDLC in an Agile delivery model
• Own complex, non-routine problem-solving end-to-end — independ

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years as a Technical BA or equivalent with multiple years in financial services or capital markets
• Experience with data-intensive systems — ingesting, normalizing, and presenting complex multi-source data
• Investment management or capital markets domain required; ESG familiarity a plus, not a prerequisite
• Hands-on SQL; experience working with large, complex datasets in Snowflake — including internal data pipelines and vendor-sourced ESG data feeds
• BI/analytics tooling experience
• Demonstrated experience driving data-driven tech initiatives from discovery through delivery
• Comfortable in Agile delivery models alongside engineering teams
• Strong communicator — earns credibility with both business stakeholders and technical teams
• Cloud fluency in AWS (Lambda, S3, microservices, CI/CD)
