Executive Personal Assistant to Managing Partner, Prestigious Private Equity Firm, Midtown, NYC
A well-established private equity firm near Grand Central Station in NYC is seeking an Executive/Personal Assistant to serve as the trusted right-hand and strategic partner to the Managing Partner. This is 4 days in the office, 1 day remote (usually Fridays), depending on what is going on. This is not a traditional support position; it requires someone who thrives as a strategic partner, ensuring smooth execution and anticipatory management across all aspects of his personal and professional life. The main support will be the Managing Partner, but a few months following start, the EA may be asked to assist other senior team members depending on needs.
About the Job
● Serve as the primary liaison and trusted point of contact for the Managing Partner, managing a complex calendar focusing on priorities.
● Own heavy calendar management across business ventures with internal stakeholders and investors, anticipating conflicts and proactively reshaping the day
● Serve as a true gatekeeper and communicator for internal stakeholders and clients
● Conduct research to prepare the Managing Partner for meetings
● Draft and manage correspondence, prioritize inbox and craft emails on his behalf
● Coordinate domestic and international travel, personal and professional, with detailed itineraries
● Plan and execute dinners and events
● Handle confidential information with utmost discretion
● Manage personal matters ad hoc projects
● Leverage technology and AI tools to optimize time management, streamline communications, and enhance overall efficiency

About You
● 7+ years supporting a senior C-Suite executive
● Background in private equity/finance a big plus
● Bachelor’s Degree
● Exceptional organizational and anticipatory skills; able to manage multiple complex priorities seamlessly
● Confident communicator with impeccable written and verbal skills
● Adept at managing shifting priorities with a white-glove service mindset
● Proactive and a true creative problem solver who knows how to take as much off the Managing Partner’s plate as possible.
● Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
● Use of AI tools to improve efficiencies (they mostly use Claude.ai)
