Our client, a prestigious AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking an experienced Of Counsel or Junior Partner to join their Global Club & Branded Residences Group and Hospitality, Tourism & Leisure Practice in Boca Raton. This is an exciting opportunity to provide strategic legal counsel to elite clients across the hospitality, tourism, branded residences, and private club sectors. If you have deep industry knowledge and a passion for shaping the legal landscape of premier residential and resort communities, this role is for you!

 

Candidate Profile:

  • JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
  • Active Florida Bar Admission, in good standing.
  • 8+ years of substantive experience in hospitality, tourism, leisure, and residential law.
  • Expertise in governance, development, and operational issues related to private clubs, resort communities, and branded residences.
  • Experience in representing clients within the Branded Residences, Hospitality, Tourism, and Leisure sectors.
  • Strong background in drafting and negotiating governance documents, management contracts, licensing agreements, and consumer agreements.
  • Experience advising on mergers, acquisitions, marketing strategies, and legal frameworks for international developments.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to counsel senior leadership and international clients.
  • Proven track record of managing complex, multi-jurisdictional projects and leading multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strategic thinker with superior analytical, oral, and written advocacy skills.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise clients on structuring, negotiating, and amending governance documents for private clubs, resort communities, and mixed-use projects.
  • Guide clients through the development and management of residential and resort communities, condominiums, and community associations.
  • Navigate cross-border legal frameworks to provide innovative legal solutions for international hospitality and real estate projects.
  • Oversee licensing agreements, branding deals, management contracts, and operational strategies for premier club and residential developments.
  • Provide high-level legal counsel on mergers, acquisitions, and business expansion strategies within the hospitality and tourism sectors.
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships by offering proactive, strategic, and solutions-oriented legal advice.
  • Assist in integrating Western legal and business practices into foreign jurisdictions, delivering creative and effective legal solutions aligned with local regulatory frameworks.
