Production Manager

-Manage, organize, and implement a maintenance schedule for production and water treatment equipment;
-Establish good manufacturing practices, and develop accountability procedures to insure compliance;
-Write and implement a HACCP plan;
-Oversee daily production, including scheduling, raw materials procurement and management, coordinating with the distribution and sales teams, leading the production team, and insuring maintenance of accurate production records;
-Streamline and eliminate waste from the current production methods, as well as investigate new ways to increase efficiency and lower cost;
-Respond correctly and quickly to quality issues;
-Aid with the adaptation of the production equipment to new products;
-Investigate and advise in the purchasing of new equipment;
-Participate in the installation and crew training for new equipment;
-Oversee the training of employees for new roles, and evaluate and hire new talent when necessary;


Desired Skills and Experience
-3-5 years working in liquid food product production (water experience a plus)
-excellent communication skills, computer competency, Spanish not required, but a plus
-basic understanding of mechanical equipment and line balancing
-must be a self-starter with good organizational skills
-management or supervisory experience
