Now, we’re looking for a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP, APRN) to join our dedicated team in the Department of Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine. Whether you're a seasoned PNP or a motivated new graduate, we welcome your passion for pediatric care and your commitment to making a difference.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide primary care services for pediatric and adolescent patients, including health screenings, diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care.

  • Collaborate with physicians and the care team to deliver comprehensive, coordinated services.

  • Refer patients to specialists when appropriate and follow up on care.

  • Participate in quality improvement, peer reviews, and department initiatives.

  • Use and maintain accurate documentation through our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.

  • Coordinate care with other CHS departments and community partners to support holistic health outcomes.

What We’re Looking For

Required:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing school and approved Pediatric Nurse Practitioner program.

  • Active (or eligible) APRN licensure in the State of Connecticut.

  • Eligible for DEA and CT controlled substance registration.

  • Strong knowledge of pediatric practice, clinical decision-making, and patient assessment.

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

  • Cultural competence and a passion for serving diverse communities.

  • Comfort with electronic systems and EHR platforms.

Preferred:

  • 1–2 years of experience in a pediatric or primary care setting.

  • Spanish-speaking ability.
