Clean Air Technology Role!  Process and Applications Engineer. 

We are looking for an experienced, results-driven Chemical Engineering Professional to join our Engineering team in a Process and Applications Engineering role. This is a replacement opportunity with high growth potential.

Base Salary: Negotiable and anticipated to be in the range of $100,000 to $150,000 range (DOE) plus potential annual corporate bonus!

Roles & Responsibilities:  Your top priority is customer satisfaction by developing new and customized design of clean air technology products, preparing bid packages and delivering presentations to customers while ensuring product quality is tailored to customer’s technical requirements. In this position you will often be client-facing, as you provide expert advice on possible applications.

 

As part of a Global Team, you will:

  • Develop new and customized design, configuration and application of clean air technology products.
  • As the voice of the customer, understand and translate a “customer needs” orientation to the product customization process.
  • Foster Global cross-functional partnerships and collaborations with Sales and Business Development, Operations, Marketing, Communications and Engineering leadership to develop new solutions and products for pollution abatement issues.
  • Partner and develop technical documents, proposals and presentations for customized product applications.
  • Ensure robust manufacturable designs while interfacing with the Manufacturing, Fabrication and Quality teams.
  • Manage costs across the business including external contractors, fabricators, major components and designs.

 

Qualifications you will bring to the Role:

  • Bachelor of Chemical Engineering (BSChE) from an ABET accredited university or college.
  • 3-8 years process and system design industrial experience.
  • Experience in scrubber designs and operations.
  • Project management experience, managing timelines and budgets.
  • Ability to travel domestically and/or internationally.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Authorized to work for any employer in the USA without sponsorship.

 

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • P.E. License
  • Experience with Fiber Bed Filters/Candle Filters
  • Mass Balance Modeling
  • Experience within the fertilizer, sulfuric acid, waste-to-energy or power industries.
