*This position can be based in any of the following locations and requires the Developer to work from the office 1-2 days per week!

A DAY IN THE LIFE:

  • Design effective, scalable, and maintainable solutions that meet business requirements
  • Work with various team members and functional areas to identify and understand business requirements
  • Work collaboratively with consultants, implementation managers, and client IT resources to develop, test, implement products and issue resolutions
  • Develop and maintain accurate technical documentation (flow charts, functional configuration, application updates, etc.)
  • Participate in defining project proposals, estimates, project plans, and implementation strategies for reports, interfaces, conversions and enhancements (RICE)
  • Ensure the quality of RICE deliverables using development testing methods, code reviews, and user acceptance testing
  • Communicate development complexities and risks to project management
  • Implement security measures in accordance with IT policy that align with best practices
  • Responsible for the development of technical designs, code, and unit testing for E1 platforms
  • Monitor system performance/logging via JDE Server Manager
  • Ensure compliance with change management policies and principles
  • Maintain a clear history of code through the use of source control tools
  • Help the IT Support Desk with escalated issues
  • Mentor other team members on technical skills, design practices, and troubleshooting

 

IS THIS YOU?

  • 5 or more years of experience with JD Edwards Enterprise One using the Development Toolset
  • 5 or more years of experience with JD Edwards Enterprise One Developer
  • Able to develop and maintain positive, cooperative working relationships
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Able to communicate clearly and professionally with all levels of the organization
  • Highly adaptable

  • US Citizen or US Permanent Resident

 

WHAT YOU BRING:

  • Knowledge of and experience with JD Edwards Standard Development Toolsets(9.1 and 9.2)
  • Knowledge of debugging tools
  • Expert knowledge of JDE table structure and dependencies
  • Understanding of different operating environments (DV, PY, PD) and associated object promotion rules
  • Familiarity with JDE CNC functions
  • Knowledge of JDE E1 project promotions, package builds, and deployments
  • Experience using BI Publisher
  • Comprehensive knowledge of E1 Orchestrations
  • Strong knowledge of and familiarity with JDE interoperability processes
  • Ability to configure E1 software to match business requirements
  • Experience with application development
  • Experience with multiple cloud and on-premises technologies (VMWare, OBDC, FTP, SMTP, HTTPs, etc.)
  • Understanding of cyber security threats
