Ideal Profile: The ideal candidate is a JD Edwards Functional Analyst with hands-on experience across EnterpriseOne Financial Management applications open to joining a talented service delivery team. Required is business process knowledge, as well as experience troubleshooting and providing end-user support. This position involves collaboration with business stakeholders, IT teams, and cross-functional departments.
 
 
A Day in the Life
  • This role is responsible for enhancing financial reporting, streamlining accounting processes, and optimizing JDE utilization.
  • Partner with Finance leadership to align IT initiatives with strategic business objectives.
  • Act as a key liaison between Finance and IT, ensuring seamless collaboration and project execution.
  • Identify and implement technology-driven improvements to optimize financial workflows.
  • Automate critical accounting processes, including FX rate entry, bank reconciliation, and payroll entries, to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Maximize the capabilities of JDE by assessing system utilization, deploying controls, and optimizing key financial processes.
  • Drive automation in financial reporting, including inventory, production, and cost analysis, using JDE, Insight, and Power BI.
  • Lead the development of a Finance Data Warehouse to establish a single source of truth for reporting and analytics.
  • Leverage advanced analytics tools like Power BI to provide real-time, data-driven insights for Finance stakeholders.
 
What You Bring
  • Deep functional expertise, acquired over 8+ years of experience, in JDE modules, including General Accounting, AR/AP, Fixed Assets, Pricing, Cost Accounting, and Manufacturing Accounting.
  • Proficiency in reporting tools such as Hubble and Power BI to drive data insights and decision-making.
  • Proven experience in finance and reporting, ideally in an IT business partner capacity.
  • Strong analytical mindset with a focus on process optimization and automation.
  • Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Solid project management experience, handling multiple priorities in dynamic environments.
  • Background in manufacturing or inventory management, with knowledge of financial regulations and compliance highly preferred.
 
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, or a related field, with a strong understanding of financial processes.
Location: Local to the Atlanta (Roswell) area or willing to relocate from within the USA upon hire.
