Direct Hire opportunity for a Manufacturing General Manager role in the Piqua, Ohio area!Responsibilities:
Responsible for organizing and implementing the company’s development plan and annual operating plan for the Sidney facility, and meeting associated performance goals and metrics
Fully responsible for the construction, production and operational management of the Sidney facility
Responsible for implementing the company’s rules, regulations, operating cost control, and ensuring that the overall operating costs of the company are continuously reduced while improving output and quality.
Responsible for the implementation, optimization and management of quality, production and supply chain systems.
Responsible for establishing and setting up the organizational structure and associated management systems, and for the recruitment and training of all facility personnel.
Responsible for leadership and decision-making in the overall operational activities of the Sidney facility, including maintenance of the safety and health of all employees and compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and standards.
Responsible for leading the team to meet customer delivery requirements, organize timely communication of customer needs, and respond to delivery timelines and quality problems.
Responsible for completing other tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or above, more than 15 years of experience in manufacturing management of films, lithium-ion batteries, automobiles and parts, and/or chemicals.
More than 3 years of work experience in the same work position.
Experience with new factory construction is preferred.
Familiarity with quality management requirements comparable to those applicable to lithium-ion batteries and battery components; proficiency in factory production operation and management, cost control and logistics management.
Comprehensive management thinking, insightful and clear logical thinking, proficiency with identifying and solving problems efficiently, strong leadership skills in organizational system-building and team management, strong leadership and motivational skills, strong communication and coordination abilities; entrepreneurial desire and passion, strong career ambition, strong professionalism and professional ethics.
Bilingual in Mandarin and English (able to speak and write Mandarin and English fluently) is REQUIRED.
Work experience in a multinational company and ability to deal with cultural differences are preferred.
