As an Account Service Representative (ASR), which is our customer service position, you will be responsible for servicing customers and entering all orders coming in through email, fax, and phone. This requires accurate order entry and confirmation, following up on quotes, purchasing nonstock items from the network of vendors, product knowledge, and other duties as assigned. You must be able to sit and work at a computer for an extended period of time, in a high stress environment. This is a full-time, hourly position, Monday through Friday, 8:30 am – 5 pm, with occasional half days on Saturdays. The starting range is $21-$26 per hour ($43,680 - $54,080 per year).

 Required Skills and Competencies: 

· Exceptional customer service is a must!

· 1-3 years of Building Materials / Building Supply or relevant experience preferred but not required

· Mid-level technical skills and data entry: Microsoft Outlook, Mail, Calendar, Word and Excel

· Strong problem-solving skills

· Organized with an extraordinary attention to detail

· Dependable, reliable, and trustworthy

· Energetic, outgoing, and patient

· Ability to work both independently and in a team environment

· Ability to prioritize tasks, multi-task, recognize the high sense of urgency, and to meet all deadlines

· Ability to professionally communicate, in English, across various departments with all levels of employees both verbally and in writing

Pay: $43,680.00 - $54,080.00 per year
