Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
• Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems, making use of current computer technology.
• Maintain and coordinate the implementation of accounting control procedures.
• Prepare financial reports for management that summarize and forecast the organization’s financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and expected operations.
• Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice.
• Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting, or other tax requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
