BUSINESS LITIGATION ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY

Location: San Francisco or Los Angeles, CA

Our client, a top AmLaw 50 international law firm, is seeking a highly-qualified and motivated Business Litigation Associate Attorney to join their thriving Commercial Litigation Practice Group in San Francisco or Los Angeles. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented litigator to take on sophisticated, high-stakes cases while working alongside some of the top legal minds in the field.

Candidate Profile:

  • JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
  • Bar Admission in Washington.
  • 4–6 years of substantive experience in complex business litigation, with at least two years litigating in a law firm setting.
  • Judicial clerkship experience is preferred.
  • Strong written and oral advocacy skills.
  • Experience managing large and sophisticated litigation matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent a diverse range of businesses and individuals in complex commercial disputes in federal and state courts, as well as alternative dispute resolution venues.
  • Manage all aspects of litigation, including drafting pleadings, handling discovery, motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation.
  • Collaborate with experienced attorneys on high-profile litigation matters at both local and national levels.
  • Provide strategic legal counsel to clients, ensuring effective case management and resolution.

In addition to working on cutting-edge litigation matters, associates enjoy a competitive compensation package, with a salary range of $310,000 to $390,000 annually, based on experience. Attorneys are also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and receive a comprehensive benefits suite, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, personal medical and parental leave, up to ten paid holidays, family care benefits, and a 401(k) plan.
