Coordinates, administers, implements and assists in the development of the supply support system which operates efficiently and meets the needs of the patient and the site/organization Materials Management Department. Acts as a buyer for non-contract items and services.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree desired. Experience: Minimum four (4) years healthcare materials management, computerized inventory or purchasing experience desired.Other Minimum Qualifications: Strong communication skills & ability to work with others in a team setting. Proficiencies in Microsoft Office, spreadsheet management. Familiarity with automated procurement and inventory control systems. Ability to act independently with minimum supervision. Ability to perform repetitive tasks for long periods of time. Ability to perform in a continually changing environment with tight deadlines.
