Job Title: Production Supervisor
SummarySupervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in production. Must have a full understanding of all manufacturing processes required for each product. Responsibilities include ensuring that all production workers are properly trained and fully understand the processes they are involved in. The role also requires maintaining and recording production and inventory records.
Responsibilities:
Leadership:
Talent management and development, including coaching direct reports and other leaders.
Drive and implement systems and process improvements through other teams.
Problem-solving within an interdisciplinary team.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Understand all required production processes.
Maintain HACCP program requirements.
Train line workers in production processes as needed.
Prepare and maintain required reports and records.
Complete daily timesheets and schedule time off for employees.
Complete daily production reports.
Ensure that employees adhere to company policies and work rules.
Maintain neat and accurate records.
Utilize PC skills, including Word and Excel.
Ensure team training and compliance.
Process Controls/Continuous Improvement:
Lead and coach other leaders on effective use of Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
Deploy a robust non-conformance and corrective action follow-up process.
Skills, Requirements, and Minimum Education Level:
Bilingual Spanish required.
Previous experience in a supervisory role within the food manufacturing industry, preferably bakery or frozen foods manufacturing.
Associate's degree preferred; experience may be substituted for education based on qualifications.
Entrepreneurial/start-up mentality – ability to thrive in environments of uncertainty and pressure.
Strong problem-solving skills with a relentless approach to solutions.
Deadline-oriented with the ability to organize assignments, set priorities, and execute plans.

Production environment with moving parts and conveyors; must be able to maneuver through obstacles daily.
Regularly required to walk, talk, or hear; frequently required to stand, use hands to handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
Physical Demands:
Must maintain a valid U.S. state-based driver’s license.
Ability to lift 30+ lbs.
