Director of Sales
Summary:
The Director of Broadline Sales will partner with top accounts and significantly contribute to our growth strategy. The successful candidate will drive revenue growth by strategically executing and achieving sales objectives while collaborating with internal cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive the continued growth and development of the Food Service division.Achieve budgeted volume growth for all branded Foodservice items.Understand company products, their market position, and competition.Create, negotiate, deliver, and lead RFPs to grow sales margins and volume.Develop and implement plans to increase sales and exceed revenue targets.Maintain and nurture current client relationships.Identify and secure new business opportunities to grow our product line.Conduct high-level research to develop effective sales solutions for new markets and products.Establish strong business relationships with key decision makers and senior management in potential clients.Create and execute marketing strategies to advance our growth plan.Research industry trends and create new opportunities for business expansion.Craft and present comprehensive sales presentations.Collaborate with operations, marketing, and innovation teams to align sales strategy with growth objectives.Train junior salespeople to exceed sales goals.Participate in M&A integration and Due Diligence.Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Ag Economics, or a related field preferred, or equivalent knowledge and experience.Minimum of 10 years of experience in protein and/or food service sales, preferably with top accounts in the Broadline sector.Strong history of direct customer relationship management with wholesalers and corporate retailers.Proven track record of building retail-specific programs, acquiring new business, and facilitating growth in existing business.Effective leadership and direction of a broker network.

Physical Requirements:
Primarily office and plant environment requiring sitting, talking, hearing, walking, standing, using hands, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.Ability to lift/move up to 25 pounds occasionally.Specific vision abilities required: close vision and distance vision.Ability to use standard office equipment such as telephone, computer, and copier.
