Cooler SupervisorOverview:We are seeking a dedicated Cooler Supervisor to oversee daily operations on the production line. This role ensures product quality, staff performance, and compliance with safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required

  • 1–2 years of experience in a packing or processing facility (beef experience preferred)

  • Strong knowledge of product types and specifications

  • Effective communication and leadership skills

  • Ability to motivate and manage a diverse team

  • Bilingual skills are a plus; translation support is available

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure product quality and yield meet company standards

  • Supervise all hourly employees working on the line

  • Promote a safe and positive work environment

  • Confirm all products meet required specifications before leaving the line

  • Complete pre-operational paperwork and verify cleanliness and sanitation of the line before startup

  • Ensure adequate staffing to meet production needs

  • Maintain and manage employee paperwork

  • Monitor job performance in collaboration with upper management

  • Comply with all labor regulations and union agreements

  • Participate in daily supervisor meetings and provide input

  • Conduct monthly team meetings for hourly staff

  • Provide continuous on-the-job training for team members

  • Manage disciplinary actions ranging from verbal warnings to terminations
