We’re seeking a hands-on, driven 2nd Shift Production Manager to oversee operations for our ground beef, chubs, and packaging lines. The ideal candidate is bilingual (English/Spanish), has strong leadership skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role is critical to ensuring our production goals are met while maintaining high standards in safety, quality, and team performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage 2nd shift production team, including supervisors, leads, and hourly staff.

• Monitor daily production activities to meet schedule, yield, and efficiency goals.

• Ensure product quality and food safety standards are consistently maintained.

• Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

• Train, coach, and develop employees for improved performance and growth.

• Work closely with maintenance, QA, and logistics to ensure smooth operations.

• Oversee shift handoffs and communicate key updates to other shifts and leadership.

• Monitor and enforce compliance with company policies and USDA regulations.

• Assist in staffing, scheduling, and shift planning.

• Report on KPIs, troubleshoot issues, and recommend process improvements.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of production management or supervisory experience in a food processing or meat/poultry environment (ground beef experience is a plus).

• Bilingual – fluent in English and Spanish (required).

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Knowledge of USDA, GMP, HACCP, and food safety regulations.

• Ability to multitask and lead in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

• Comfortable working in a cold, production environment.

• Strong attention to detail and a passion for quality and safety.

• Basic computer skills (Excel, email, production software systems).
