About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Security Analyst to join a cybersecurity operations team supporting enterprise security initiatives. This role is ideal for a professional with strong experience in security operations, incident response, network security monitoring, and cyber threat analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and investigate cybersecurity incidents through ticketing and incident response processes.
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security events across firewalls, IDS/IPS, web proxies, and other security technologies.
- Perform network traffic analysis to identify indicators of compromise, suspicious activity, unauthorized access attempts, and potential data exfiltration.
- Support the implementation, administration, and enhancement of network security controls including firewalls, VPNs, network segmentation, and secure remote access solutions.
- Review firewall rules, access controls, and network security configurations to ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, and architecture teams to identify, assess, and remediate security vulnerabilities and risks.
- Participate in security investigations, threat containment, root cause analysis, and incident response activities.
- Develop and maintain security documentation, operational reports, metrics, and security-related artifacts.
- Support phishing awareness and security education initiatives.
- Manage and support Privileged Access Management (PAM) processes and service requests.
- Provide timely communication and updates to stakeholders during security incidents.
- Research emerging cyber threats and recommend improvements to security monitoring and response capabilities.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience in Cybersecurity Operations and Security Incident Response.
- Strong knowledge of network security technologies including Firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and Network Access Control (NAC).
- Experience monitoring and investigating security alerts and events.
- Hands-on experience with threat analysis, vulnerability assessment, and risk mitigation.
- Familiarity with Privileged Access Management (PAM) processes.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
