REMOTE -Sr Accountant - Treasury

P&C Insurance required

Bonus eligible

We have an immediate need for a treasury accountant for a REMOTE role. This Sr Accountant - Treasury will report to the Treasury Manager.

Skill set should include

1. Solid understanding of A/P and A/R

2. Ability to make accurate ledger postings

3. Experience reconciling subsidiary ledger accounts to the GL

4. Experience analyzing balance sheets

5. Participating in audit and statutory exams

6. Experience preparing company 1099's

7. Experience in performing other Treasury responsibilities - cash, banking, investments

8. An eye for financial system and workflow/process improvements

9. Forward thinking, able to self-direct, with a collaborative spirit

10 Experience working in a GAAP accounting environment within a P&C insurance carrier

A 4- year degree is required and we're targeting a minimum of 3 solid years of similar experience in a P&C insurance carrier. A plus would be +SAP Concur and Blackline experience. Does require working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
