We are seeking a dedicated and passionate School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Tallassee. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students by helping them overcome speech and language challenges within an educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students' specific needs and goals.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social development.
  • Document and maintain accurate records of assessments, treatment plans, progress reports, and therapy sessions.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education programs.
  • Stay informed of the latest research and developments in the field of speech-language pathology and integrate new knowledge into practice.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality services to students.
