Location: Hybrid role based in Irvine, California. Exceptional candidates with strong workers’ compensation defense experience may be considered for a remote arrangement.
Note: You must be an active member of the California Bar in good standing and have at least 1 year of litigation experience.

Job Description
- Handle workers’ compensation defense matters through all stages of litigation
- Attend hearings, manage discovery, take and defend depositions, and support motion practice
- Draft reports, pleadings, legal correspondence, and other litigation documents
- Evaluate claims, analyze exposure, and help develop effective defense strategies
- Communicate proactively with clients, carriers, opposing counsel, and team members
- Work closely with experienced attorneys who provide mentorship and training
- Partner with dedicated support staff to produce high-quality, timely work
- Build a long-term practice with a firm in growth mode and a strong reputation in the market
Qualifications
- Active California Bar license in good standing
- 1+ year of litigation experience required
- Workers’ compensation defense experience preferred, but not required
- Strong writing, analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Motivated, professional, and able to manage cases and deadlines effectively
- Comfortable with technology and modern case management tools
