Job Description
- Represent clients in tort and insurance defense litigation matters
- Handle depositions, motion practice, and court appearances
- Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and other litigation documents
- Provide strategic counsel and take ownership of client matters
- Collaborate with partners and colleagues on litigation strategy and case development
- Manage multiple active matters independently while maintaining strong attention to detail
- Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and the court
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active admission to the New York Bar
- 5+ years of tort and insurance defense litigation experience
- Strong experience with depositions, motion practice, and court appearances
- Strong writing, communication, and case management skills
- Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Professional judgment and a proactive, solutions-oriented approach
