Location

Washington, DC office. This is a hybrid role with 4 days in-office and 1 day remote each week.

Note

This role requires at least 3 years of paralegal experience with direct medical malpractice experience.

Job Description

• Obtain, organize, review, and summarize large volumes of medical records
• Draft detailed medical chronologies and case summaries
• Assist attorneys with expert witness coordination and trial preparation
• Maintain litigation calendars, deadlines, and case files
• Support discovery, document management, and evidence tracking
• Conduct factual research to support legal strategy
• Provide general litigation and case support as needed

Qualifications

• 3+ years of paralegal or legal assistant experience
• Hands-on medical malpractice experience required
• Strong experience reviewing and summarizing medical records
• Excellent written communication and organizational skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced litigation environment
• Nursing or clinical background preferred but not required
