Location: This is a full-time, fully on-site opportunity in Roseland, New Jersey, designed for attorneys who want the benefit of daily in-person collaboration, mentorship, and professional development.

Note: Must be admitted in New Jersey and have solid civil litigation experience in NJ, including familiarity with court rules, procedures, and the general litigation process.

Job Description

  • Handle civil litigation matters from inception through resolution
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation documents
  • Manage written discovery, document review, and case strategy support
  • Prepare for and attend depositions, court appearances, and hearings
  • Assist with trial preparation and overall litigation support
  • Conduct legal research and write clearly and persuasively
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and the court in a professional manner
  • Manage deadlines, priorities, and multiple active matters effectively
  • Work closely with senior attorneys while also taking ownership of substantive assignments

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Admitted to practice in New Jersey
  • 2+ years of directly relevant civil litigation experience
  • Strong knowledge of NJ litigation process, procedures, and rules
  • Experience with discovery and motion practice
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Organized, responsive, and able to manage multiple deadlines
  • Motivated to grow in an in-office, team-oriented environment
