Location: Midtown Manhattan, NY (fully on-site, Monday–Friday, 9:30 AM–6:00 PM)
Note: This role requires 3+ years of credit analysis or underwriting experience with strong cash flow analysis (this is the most important skill for success in this role).

Job Description
- Analyze borrower cash flow using bank statements, P&Ls, balance sheets, tax returns, and A/R detail
- Evaluate credit risk using credit reports, public records, UCC filings, liens, judgments, and bankruptcy history
- Recommend approval terms, loan sizing, and risk-based structure based on cash flow strength and overall profile
- Price deals and structure repayment terms using internal frameworks and portfolio risk standards
- Write clear credit memos that document assumptions, risks, mitigants, and rationale for decisions
- Partner with underwriting and leadership to review escalations and higher-complexity files
- Communicate with internal teams and, when needed, directly with business owners to clarify financials
- Monitor trends and contribute ideas that improve credit policy, decision quality, and portfolio performance
- Mentor and support junior analysts/underwriters as you grow into a leadership lane
Qualifications
- 3+ years in credit analysis, underwriting, commercial finance, or a similar role
- Demonstrated strength in cash flow analysis (bank statement analysis and business financials)
- Strong Excel skills (comfortable building and auditing models and analysis outputs)
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Clear communicator who can explain analysis and recommendations succinctly
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or similar (or equivalent experience)
