Location: This is a fully on-site opportunity in Bedford, Indiana, where you will work closely with employees and plant leadership in a hands-on manufacturing environment.

Note: Must have 3+ years of payroll processing experience, permanent U.S. work authorization, and the ability to work on-site in Bedford daily. Experience with an HRIS/payroll system is required, and Paylocity experience is a plus.

Job Description

  • Own biweekly payroll processing with a high level of accuracy, timeliness, and confidentiality
  • Audit timecards, process payroll changes and adjustments, and respond to employee payroll questions
  • Maintain employee records in the HRIS, including job changes, compensation updates, status changes, and PTO tracking
  • Coordinate onboarding paperwork, orientation support, I-9 compliance, and personnel file maintenance
  • Assist with benefits administration, employee questions, and open enrollment support
  • Help coordinate recruiting logistics such as interview scheduling, background checks, and candidate communication
  • Serve as the primary HR operations contact for the Bedford facility and support employees and supervisors with day-to-day HR needs
  • Maintain HR and safety documentation, including training records, OSHA-related documentation, and audit support
  • Partner with site leadership and broader HR leadership to keep processes organized, compliant, and running smoothly

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of payroll processing experience
  • Experience using an HRIS or payroll platform
  • Paylocity experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally
  • Solid understanding of basic HR operations, including onboarding and employee support
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong organization, communication, and follow-through
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
