Location: On-site in Seattle, WA. You’ll work from a centrally located office that’s easily commutable from Seattle, Bellevue, Renton, Kent, and nearby communities.
Note: You must have at least 1 year of law firm experience in a legal assistant, legal secretary, or similar role, and be able to work on-site full-time in Seattle with strong written communication, organization, and calendaring skills.

Job Description
- Support attorneys handling wage-and-hour, employment, and consumer class and representative actions in Washington state and federal courts
- Draft and format basic legal documents, including letters, pleadings, and simple motions, and file documents in accordance with court procedures
- Maintain and organize physical and electronic case files, including evidence, exhibits, depositions, and pleadings
- Input and update all legal deadlines, hearings, depositions, and client meetings in the firm’s calendaring system
- Calculate and double-check deadlines based on applicable rules and statutes to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Coordinate scheduling and manage conflicts for attorneys, clients, and witnesses
- Interview clients and witnesses as needed and prepare clear summaries of their information
- Assist attorneys with organizing and carrying out special projects and litigation tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a legal assistant, legal secretary, or similar law firm support role
- Litigation experience strongly preferred; exposure to employment or class action matters is a plus
- Solid understanding of legal terminology, court pleadings, and basic court procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail and grammar
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort working in electronic case management systems
- Professional, reliable, and able to maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment
- Bachelor’s degree or paralegal studies background preferred but not required
