Job Description

  • Assist with investigations to identify at-fault parties and support liability development
  • Communicate with clients regarding injuries, treatment status, and economic losses
  • Obtain and organize medical records, billing records, and other damages documentation
  • Identify and track potential liens (health insurance and other)
  • Draft strong demand letters and support settlement strategy
  • Prepare cases for settlement and litigation, including discovery demands and responses
  • Draft pleadings such as non-dispositive and procedural motions
  • Coordinate professional correspondence with defense counsel and other parties
  • Perform legal research and manage timelines and case tasks
  • Support court preparation and trial prep, including exhibits and visual aids
  • Maintain diligent, accurate case management and data entry

Qualifications

  • 2 plus years of plaintiff personal injury paralegal experience (auto, truck, slip and fall, and similar matters)
  • Paralegal certificate or associate degree required
  • Strong organization, follow-through, and attention to detail
  • Strong research, writing, and communication skills (persuasive writing matters here)
  • Strong customer-service mindset and time management
  • Microsoft Office proficiency required (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Spanish language ability is a plus
  • Able to learn and adapt to legal technology and case management systems
