Litigation Paralegal
Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

Location: On-site, New York City (Lower Manhattan). You’ll work in-office with the team for real-time collaboration, fast-moving litigation support, and direct attorney partnership.
Note: Must have 2+ years of litigation paralegal experience and experience supporting cases in New York state and/or federal court (including e-filing and deadline management). EEOC familiarity is strongly preferred.

Job Description
- Open, organize, and maintain new matters across internal systems and case files
- Track and calendar critical deadlines, including EEOC timing and litigation scheduling orders
- Support pre-suit processes: demand letters, document collection, evidence organization, and client communications
- Assist with drafting and filing pleadings in New York state court and/or federal court
- Coordinate discovery workflows: demands, responses, productions, document review, and issue spotting
- Prepare deposition materials, exhibit binders, and case chronologies
- Coordinate with court personnel, opposing counsel, and vendors as needed
- Support mediation and settlement: scheduling, exhibit packets, mitigation materials, medical/therapy records tracking, and settlement timeline follow-through
- Assist with motion practice and trial prep as cases progress
Qualifications
- 2+ years of litigation paralegal experience (plaintiff-side employment law preferred)
- Experience with NY state court practice and/or federal court practice (including e-filing and deadline tracking)
- Familiarity with EEOC procedures and pre-suit demand processes is a plus
- Strong drafting, organization, and follow-through (you don’t drop balls)
- Comfortable managing multiple active matters in a deadline-driven environment
- Experience with case management software (MyCase or similar) preferred
