Location: This is an on-site role based in the Tampa, Florida area, with travel to project sites as needed.Note: Must have 4+ years of experience independently running commercial construction projects, including contract negotiation, financial management, scheduling, and estimating. - Manage commercial construction projects from pre-construction through closeout
- Lead project planning, budgeting, scheduling, estimating, and overall execution
- Negotiate contracts and oversee subcontractor and vendor relationships
- Monitor project financials and keep projects on time and on budget
- Coordinate with internal teams, architects, engineers, consultants, and field personnel
- Review drawings, scopes, schedules, and project documentation to keep work moving efficiently
- Conduct site visits, track progress, and proactively resolve issues
- Maintain strong communication with clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure work is completed in compliance with safety standards, building codes, and quality expectations
- Support a high-accountability, solutions-oriented project environment
Qualifications
- 4+ years of project management experience in commercial construction
- Experience independently running projects with responsibility for contracts, budgets, scheduling, and estimating
- Strong financial management and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple moving parts and keep projects on track
- Proficiency with construction project management tools such as Procore and MS Project is strongly preferred
- Ground-up commercial construction experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Comfortable traveling to project sites as needed
